About me

I am an international student from Egypt, raised in Saudi Arabia, I came to the USA to further my studies into my passion, interior design. I have traveled around the world at an early age and gained an eye for design and its different varying forms.

For me, my personal focus for interiors is not specific such as residential or commercial design, but rather on the user and how the design shifts to better meet their needs. My passion with users goes beyond most designers as I prefer to focus on more challenging clients. To further understand how the design should be done in consideration of their specific needs and desires, and the more complex the more passionately I design.

My personality is very much reserved and friendly, I can easily work in teams and understand the differences in being in more formal and casual environments. When situations are tough or stressful I remain efficient addressing issues with a calm and level head. I am able to asses a situation and any issues with no frustration, while quickly moving to the solution and the steps needed to achieve it.

One of my most notable traits is my persistence character and hardworking nature when I was 19 I was diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer. When faced with this situation I choose to reject requests to take time off and become a year behind in my studies. I continued college while receiving treatment, my thoughts were very simple “If I fail that is fine but the least I can do is try and have no regrets later” I am now happily in remission and have completed all my studies on time. I mention this here not to ask for sympathy or empathy but rather to show, who I am by nature and how I react when I am met with tough situations.

I am a naturally hard working, motivated and positive person, I take my work and design very seriously and would love to be given opportunities to prove this to be true.
